Overview

Icone Pay lets any business accept payments through multiple providers with a single, unified API. You initialize a payment, redirect the customer to a hosted checkout, and we notify your server when the payment completes — handling provider quirks, currency conversion, webhook signing and retries for you.

It is designed around the realities of the Haitian market: Moncash and cash on delivery are first-class citizens, prices can be shown in local or foreign currency at the day's exchange rate, and you never have to contact a provider to change a callback URL.

Payment Methods

Moncash — the Haitian mobile wallet (HTG).
Card — international cards via Stripe (USD, DOP, CLP).
Stripe Connect — marketplace payments split to your sellers' connected accounts.
Pay on Delivery — cash collected on delivery, settled from your dashboard (HTG).

How It Works

1. Initialize — call POST /api/init-payment with the order details. You get back a checkout URL.
2. Redirect — send the customer to that URL. They pick a method and pay on the hosted page.
3. Get notified — we POST a signed webhook to your route's URL when the payment succeeds or fails.
4. Fulfill — verify the signature, update your order, and return a 2xx response.
