How Test Mode Works

When an app is in test mode, payments are simulated using platform sandbox credentials — no real charges occur. All payment methods are available so you can exercise each path, and the checkout shows a clear test-mode banner.

Switching Modes

Toggle between test and live from the app dashboard. The same API key works in both modes; the app's current mode decides whether real credentials or sandbox credentials are used. Switching to live takes effect immediately.

Going Live

Before going live, add your own credentials for the methods you plan to use (Moncash and/or Stripe) under settings, enable those methods, and confirm your route webhook and return URLs point at production endpoints. Moncash is always available in live mode via the platform fallback if you have not added your own key.
